This is a small series I started in Boston. The first and last hydrants are 4 x 5 in. The others are 7 x 5 in. To me, they seemed to have their own personalities. The last one was painted in Pa. When another one catches my eye I'll continue the series.

The Fan oil on canvas 20 x 16 My brother has beautiful daughters and grandchildren. I requested he send me some photos of the girls in the family that I might paint. Being the "wise guy" that he is he sent me a photo of my sister in a plastic nose and football shirt. I fixed him! I painted it and gave it to him for his birthday....That'll teach him..
