It was so warm here, in the Northeast. Our grass was still green and spring plants were sprouting.

This is a small series I started in Boston. The first and last hydrants are 4 x 5 in. The others are 7 x 5 in. To me, they seemed to have their own personalities. The last one was painted in Pa. When another one catches my eye I'll continue the series.

I've been giving a few to the squirrels everyday until I went to buy more and saw they were almost $7.00 a bag. They'll have to continue to share sunflower seeds with the birds.
